Elevator Arts is thrilled to announce the expansion of our beloved BLAST Youth Theatre to Basildon this September! Building on the success of our Southend group, we are excited to bring our innovative and inclusive project to more young people in the South Essex area.
Sessions start:
Thursday 26 September, 5pm - 6.30pm, every Thursday during term.

Elevator Arts launched BLAST Youth Theatre in autumn 2021 when we joined forces with Welcome To The UK, a Southend-based charity dedicated to guiding newly arrived immigrant families on their journey to embracing life in the UK.
BLAST Youth Theatre is a vibrant hub for youngsters aged 8-12, focussed on those with English as an additional language. Through dynamic and exhilarating drama activities, we ignite the spark of confidence, develop language skills & support well-being.
BLAST Youth Theatre (Southend) is currently funded by Postcode Places Trust a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
BLAST Youth Theatre (Basildon) is run in partnership with Signpost & Towngate Theatre and funded by Fowler, Smith & Jones Trust & Basildon Council.
