BLAST Youth Theatre is back
We are very proud to announce that with funding from National Lottery through Arts Council England we will be running BLAST Youth Theatre again from 17 April 2023.
BLAST is a free weekly drama session for ages 8-12 years:
Take part in drama & performing arts activities.
Improve language skills & vocabulary.
Build confidence .
Have fun & make new friends
Elevator Arts launched BLAST Youth Theatre in autumn 2021 as a pilot in partnership with Southend charity, Welcome To The UK who support newly arrived immigrant families to adapt to a new life in the UK.
BLAST Youth Theatre works with all young people aged 8-12 but is particularly focussed on those who have English as an additional language.
BLAST Youth Theatre is now part of our wider programme of projects centred on developing communication & language skills, confidence and well-being through free to access drama activity.

Sessions run every Monday in term starting 17 April 2023, 5pm - 6.30pm at Welcome To The UK’s Hub at Victoria Shopping Centre, Southend-On-Sea.
