Summer fun with Outside In

This August Elevator Arts joined forces with mental health & environmental charity Trust Links to provide a free drama & wellbeing project, Outside In for children aged 10-15, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Over just five days the group created their own magical outdoor performance with the help of theatre company Smoking Apples, including a quest through a video game world to battle with an 8ft puppet.

Watch our new promo video below, created by Blatella Films, to see how it all went!

My son was buzzing after the performance and I feel this has provided him with a great feeling of achievement to carry with him when he does other things in the future.

After the first day, he came home elated and so happy to have met some new friends & had such a good time... I was very impressed with the organisation of the project and how approachable and friendly the staff were.
