Who Do I Wanna Be?

At Elevator Arts we’ve been counting down the days until we could finally get out and about again and delivery drama sessions with young people in real life!  Last week the day finally came when we began our Who Do I Wanna Be? project in partnership with Southend Young Carers.

Who Do I Wanna Be? is all about dreams for the future & our starting point for creating performance are young people’s  favourite music tracks.  The group are exploring new creative skills that build confidence & positivity whilst having fun and making connections with others again.

The project is lead by Elevator Arts’ & Blown Fuse Theatre’s co-director Michelle Barrington & fellow Mercury Creative Hannah Brailsford.

We’ll keep you updated on how the young people get on and what they find out about themselves & others.
